Tickets

A regular ticket for foreigners is around IDR 355,000 per person, one way.

Tickets can be bought the day before at the Mentawai Fast counter, open 2pm to 5pm. On our tours we buy them for you.

Departure point

All ferries leave from Muaro harbour in Padang.

Be at the port at least 30 minutes before departure. We collect you from your hotel and take you there.

Changes and cancellations

Sailings can change or be cancelled because of weather, technical issues or other operational reasons outside our control. Passenger safety comes first.

Leave buffer days either side, especially before an international flight.

After the harbour

The boat is only the first leg.

From Maileppet it is road, canoe and a trek into the forest, all with your guide.
